Small Animals

When you come into the store check out our small animal section, we always have babies of some sort back there. We have hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits and chinchillas as well as food and supplies for all of them. We also get different varieties of some of these like hairless guinea pigs and rats, or dwarf hamsters.

Hamsters, gerbils and guinea pigs make excellent pets for children. They love to be handled and played with, and rarely bite. Chinchillas and rabbits make better pets for older more experienced pet owners, and are a lot of fun. Chinchillas are one of the softest animals in the world. If you have never handled onebefore you should definately come in and see what they feel like. Call first to be sure that are in stock.

We recommend feeding the mice, rats, hamsters and gerbils Lab Blox, a laboratory formulated diet that is excellent to keep them healthy for a long life.
